In the first quarter of 2021, city building games on iOS demonstrated varying trends in the Latin American mobile gaming market. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the performance of these applications, with a focus on downloads and weekly active users.

SimCity BuildIt, published by Electronic Arts, saw a fluctuating trend in revenue, starting at around $8.8K in the last week of December 2020 and peaking at roughly $12.5K in the second week of February 2021. Downloads for the game had a descending trend, decreasing from approximately 9.8K to 6.8K over the quarter, while weekly active users showed a slight decrease from 82K to 72K.

The Simpsons™: Tapped Out, another title from Electronic Arts, experienced a revenue peak at $4.1K in the second week of February, with overall revenue showing a general downward trend. Downloads surged in early March, reaching over 11K, and active users increased from 66K to around 68K in the same period.

For Peanuts: Snoopy Town Tale by PIXOWL INC., revenue peaked at $1.2K in mid-January and again at the end of March. Downloads and weekly active users remained low, with downloads hovering around 100 per week and active users showing a decline from 610 to 470.

Megapolis: City Building Sim from Social Quantum displayed a revenue peak at $971 in mid-March, with downloads showing an upward trend towards the end of March, reaching 800. The weekly active users for Megapolis fluctuated, ending the quarter at 663 users, which was a slight decrease from the beginning of the year.

Lastly, The Tribez: Build a Village by Game Insight had a notable spike in downloads in early March, with an impressive jump to over 3.9K. Revenue for the game reached a high at $1.2K in mid-February, while active users saw a significant peak at 3.4K in mid-March.
